Transport your products to the timeless charm of Clumber Park’s Walled Gardens with the Secret Walled Garden Pattern Collection, inspired by the rich history and natural beauty of this treasured National Trust site. From the abundant rhubarb beds to the fragrant apple blossoms and delicate roses, this collection captures the essence of these extraordinary gardens I’ve wandered through since childhood, where every season brings a new story to life.

The collection features a hero pattern of trailing rhubarb plants, roses, and apple blossoms, along with complementary designs of apple branches, fine-line sketches of rhubarb and apples, and playful stripes made from actual rhubarb slices. Honey bee hive dots add a touch of whimsy to the collection.

The soft, nature-inspired colour palette reflects the beauty of Clumber Park, though all patterns can be recoloured to suit your project’s needs.

Winning Design

This pattern was selected as Winner of the Make It In Design Mentorship Competition 2024

These patterns have been hand-drawn with fine line pen. The trailing patterns were created by hand using traditional pattern planning methods. Once drawn all drawings were scanned in and vectorised in Adobe Illustrator, then re-coloured digitally.

All patterns in this collection can be re-coloured and rescaled on request for your project.
