All orders accepted and work undertaken by Ellie and Liv is on the understanding that the client has read and agreed to Ellie and Liv’s Terms and Conditions. It is therefore the client’s responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions before entering into a contract with Ellie and Liv. All designs are the property and copyright of Ellie and Liv and may not be reproduced by yourself or any third parties.
Ellie and Liv reserve the right to use any of your stationery to promote our products and services, however, we will never share any of your personal information with third parties. If you would prefer your stationery to not be used by Ellie and Liv please discuss directly with Ellie and Liv.
All our products and services are subject to availability and may be discontinued at any time. We reserve the right to alter product descriptions or pricing without notice. If booking your wedding stationery in advance of 12 months or more and increase in prices may occur on your quotation to cover increased supplier costs.
Whilst we endeavour to ensure our product images are as accurate as possible, there may be colour variations when viewed on different computer screens and devices. Therefore slight variations may occur between onscreen products, proofs (where applicable) and the final printed item.
Our personalised products are unique to each customer. Ellie and Liv will make all reasonable efforts to check the content supplied, but any spelling/grammar will be the responsibility of the customer to approve on supplied digital artwork before designs are sent to print. All text used will be copied and pasted from the submitted text provided by the client.
In event of paper supplier disruptions for all the in-house collections and bespoke wedding stationery, you will be notified of any changes and a new paper equal to the quality of the original paper will be found and substituted.
For in-house collections please allow 4-6 weeks from initial contact to delivery, for Bespoke designs please allow 8-10 weeks from initial contact to delivery. These times allow up to 3 weeks for print and delivery to you. Quick responses to correspondences from Ellie and Liv will endeavour to shorten these time scales.
‘On the day’ items must be approved at least 4 weeks before the wedding to ensure delivery on time. Ellie and Liv will not be liable for orders not delivered on time if this time scale is not met.
If the Customer needs a quicker turnaround, please contact Ellie and Liv before placing the order. Ellie and Liv will always try to accommodate tighter timescales if possible, but some schedules may incur a rush fee and increased delivery fee.
All design and print quotes are valid for 30 days. Reserved design slots are only held for 10 days from when your booking form is sent. After this time period if the contract has not been signed and 50% deposit paid we can not guarantee the availability of this design slot.
Pre-booking studio time for future dates
If you wish to pre-book studio time for a future date. You can reserve your studio time by paying a £100 deposit (non-refundable on cancellation) which will be deducted from your final payment. This deposit will guarantee that you have your studio time reserved with Ellie and Liv. Ellie and Liv will advise on the time frame for your stationery reservation. If you need to move this time frame, this will need to be agreed upon by Ellie and Liv within 4 weeks before your agreed reserved dates. This option is only available on Wedding Invitations and On The Day Stationery. If for any unforeseeable reason covered in the Liability section Ellie and Liv can not fulfil your booking your deposit will be refunded in full and guidance will be given on finding a suitable alternative supplier.
If your stationery is quoted on at point of taking the studio booking deposit prices are subject to change due to cost rises from our supplier chain that are out of our control. Any changes will be discussed with you.
Booking, cancellation and postponement of wedding goods
On booking with Ellie and Liv a 50% of the total quoted cost will be required as a deposit to secure your wedding stationery design and studio date. When the booking form is issued your date will be reserved for 10 days, after this time Ellie and Liv can not guarantee you will be able to book this date. If for any reason you require more time to make a decision please contact Ellie and Liv directly and I will endeavour to accommodate your time schedule within reason.
The initial 50% deposit on “Wedding Stationery’ for weddings is non-refundable. However, Ellie and Liv will allow a 48 hour cooling period where a 25% of the deposit will be refunded if you cancel your order, in the event you have requested design to start as soon as the order is placed no refund will be available. In the event of a wedding postponement, if the design process is still at an editable stage your new wedding date can be applied to your design free of charge, details of this can be discussed personally between Ellie and Liv and the customer.
Final payment of your quoted balance will be required in full before any wedding stationery items are sent to print.
If you order your Save the Date vis Etsy the full amount will be requested in full on ordering. Once paid this is non-refundable and work will be actioned after ordering. However, if your date changes before your order goes to print your date will be amended free of charge.
Wedding stationery once sent to print:
In the event that your wedding date is cancelled or postponed after your ‘Save the Date’ ‘Wedding Stationery’ or ‘On the Day’ items have been fully paid and sent to print, Ellie and Liv, unfortunately, can not offer a refund. If your wedding has been postponed due to events out of your control please contact us directly and we will endeavour to accommodate a reprint for your new date. Alternatively, I can supply a digital amendment free of charge.
Please note: If the new date is over 12 months after the original wedding date or an increase in items required an additional charge may incur for the rising cost in suppliers/printers costs, if this happens we will discuss this with you directly.
Print when you are ready service:
During covid whilst dates can change Ellie and Liv can hold off print until you are ready. After your 50% deposit has been paid I can prepare all your designs ready for print but delay sending them to print. They can then be printed either closer to your required dates or when you feel ready. If your date does change before print you can amend it free of charge. There will be no design holding fee and all your designs will be securely saved on the Ellie and Liv backup system until you are ready. Completion of your wedding stationery payments will act as your approval for your order to be sent to print as per Ellie and Liv Terms and Conditions.
All proofs will be sent by email unless otherwise requested. Ellie and Liv take great care and time to ensure all information on your stationery is accurate, however, it is the responsibility of the client to proofread and check the spelling, grammar and layout of the design before giving Ellie and Liv final signoff and instructions to print. I will ask you to send me your stationery wording and then copy and paste it into your designs. It is therefore the responsibility of the client to ensure the final design proof is correct before giving instruction to print.
Ellie and Liv do not take responsibility for any designs which are signed off and subsequently printed with typing or layout errors and will therefore not be liable for any resulting costs or reprints. Ellie and Liv, therefore, advise that you check your stationery carefully and perhaps ask someone else to cast their eyes over it as well.
Design, 3 rounds of amends and proofing have been factored into the pricing of your stationery and to ensure full customer satisfaction. Any rounds of amends after the allocated 3 will incur an additional £10 per round of amends charge added to your final payment.
When scheduling your print with the printers I will supply you with a print deadline date and time for the artwork to be signed off by you. Unless your wedding has been cancelled due to reasons beyond your control or you have discussed with me before this date that you can not reach this deadline, this date can not be moved. Changes to quantities or additional items can also not be added at this stage unless previously discussed with me before I have scheduled the work with the printers.
On final proof approval, your quoted balance will be required in full before your wedding stationery items are sent to print and posted out to you. Ellie and Liv can not be held responsible for late delivery if you have failed to pay your full balance by the required date.
We try to make the delivery process as simple as possible and can send your order either to your home or to your place of work. Delivery times are calculated in working days Monday to Friday. We are a small business in a rural location so off the shelf items such as greeting cards will be posted 2-3 days after ordering. If you require quicker please let us know and we will endeavour to do our best to help you out.
For personalised items such as ‘Save the Date’ ‘Wedding Stationery’, ‘On the Day’ etc. please allow 4 weeks from sign off to delivery and allow 5 working days before contacting us. You will be notified of dispatch. Please allow up to 5 working days for a pdf proof of your wedding stationery after the initial order. We will attempt to email you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
All small orders are sent out via royal mail 1st class post service if your order is over £15.00 it will be sent out via royal mails recorded packet service, which will need a signature.
Ellie and Liv are not responsible for Royal Mail delivery times. All delivery times are approximate.
All of our personalised items are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Non-personalised items can be returned within 14 days of receiving the product. Should you wish to return a product, please contact us, detailing the reason you wish to return the product and we will send you further details.
Unless faulty, products must be returned at your expense in the same condition that they have been received. Please use a ‘signed for’ delivery method and obtain proof of posting.
Personalised items unless faulty are not refundable.
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. In the unlikely event that the product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us immediately, this will be given special priority and you can expect to receive the correct item within 72 working hours (this timescale may be longer if the item is personalised and requires a reprint). Any incorrect items received all delivery charges will be refunded back to you.
On personalised goods Ellie and Liv will make all reasonable efforts to check content supplied, but any spelling/grammar/contact details will be the responsibility of the customer to approve the supplied digital artwork before designs are sent to print. After digital artwork has been approved and sent to print NO amends or refunds can be issued.
If Ellie and Liv fail to deliver the order for any reason other than an event/reason beyond Ellie and Liv’s reasonable control, or through the fault of the customer and Ellie and Liv is liable to the customer. Ellie and Liv’s liability shall be limited to the invoice price of the goods.
Ellie and Liv shall not be liable to the customer or be deemed in breach of the agreement by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform any of Ellie and Liv’s obligations in relation to the goods if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond Ellie and Liv’s reasonable control. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as causes beyond Ellie and Liv’s reasonable control:
- Act of God, explosion, flood tempest, fire or accident, pandemic
- War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition.
- Acts, restrictions, regulations, bye-laws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of governmental, parliamentary or local authority
- Import or export regulations or embargoes
- Strikes, lock-outs or any other industrial actions or trade disputes (whether involving employees of Ellie and Liv or of a third party)
- Difficulties in obtaining raw materials, labour, fuel, parts, or machinery.
- Power failure or breakdown in machinery.
Payment and contact
Payment is accepted by secure online payment on the Ellie and Liv website, Paypal, or bank transfer. Payment will be debited at the time of purchase, or soon thereafter. Once payment has been taken for either your deposit or full order, you have agreed to adhere to and bound you in contract to Ellie and Liv’s full Terms and Conditions.

This website and it’s design, and all it’s contents and design, are the sole property of Ellie and Liv. Any reproduction of part or all of its contents is strictly prohibited and is protected by international copyright laws. Any improper or illegal use of the stationery, artwork or designs will be pursued. If many choices of design are presented, only your chosen option will be deemed as Ellie and Liv fulfilling the contract and all other design variations and proofs will remain the property of Ellie and Liv unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If the client should provide Ellie and Liv with any text, images or illustrations of their own, the ownership of such materials will remain with the client or rightful trademark/copyright owner.
